Annual K of senior citizens' Christmas party

December 14 - The Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln rang with laughter and good cheer today as senior citizens from all over the area gathered for the annual K of C Christmas party. Students from RSU #31 served a wonderful dinner created by the K of C, and Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived after the dinner to hand out gifts. Live music added to the festive atmosphere. Festival of Lights Parade and Christmas tree lighting

December 2 - Downtown Lincoln was crowded with people tonight for the annual Festival of Lights parade and the official lighting of the town's Christmas tree. Both sides of Main Street were lined with folks eager to catch a glimpse of Santa as he rode through town on the Marines' Toys for Tots float. After the parade, attention shifted to Veterans Memorial Square, where carolers entertained the crowd and everyone counted down to the moment when the lights came on to welcome the Christmas Season. Breakfast with Santa!

December 2 - Santa enjoyed breakfast with kids from all over the area this morning at the annual Breakfast With Santa at Mattanawcook Academy. The cafetorium was packed, and the kitchen crew served up a wonderful breakfast while dancers and singers entertained the crowd. Santa listened intently to the little ones describing their Christmas wishes to him. We were there to bring you some photos of this festive occasion. For a photo slideshow, CLICK HERE.
