Christmas with the Crosbys

December 21 - Glenda Crosby and her husband Kenton live in Passadumkeag, and Glenda graciously invited us to visit their home for a chance to photograph their holiday decor. Over the years, Glenda has accumulated a wonderful collection of Christmas decorations. Some were purchased, some were gifts, and some are Glenda's own handiwork. There's such a tremendous variety that she is able to make the display a little different each year. She ordinarily starts decorating as early as Columbus Day, but this year her mother, Muriel Grover, passed away in November. Glenda didn't start working on the decorating until around Thanksgiving.

Glenda tells us she has a system, and several rooms in which to store her holiday display items in the off season, so it doesn't take her long to dismantle things after Christmas. The Crosbys hold an open house each year, with attendance varying from 15 to 158!

Glenda feels blessed to be able to share her love of Christmas, and says she thanks God "for coming into this world and giving us a reason to celebrate this special season". We were honored to be invited to share the beauty of the Crosby home with  you this Christmas, and hope you enjoy the video below.

Merry Christmas!
