5/4 - Jazz concert at MA

May 8-11 - Spring Clean Up Week

April 24 - The Town of Lincoln has announced that the annual spring clean up will be held May 8 to May ll. Public works employees will be picking up brush, leaves and other materials from residents. On Monday, May 8, items will be picked up from Transalpine Road to Evergreen Drive, including all in-town streets. On Tuesday, residents on Transalpine Road, Lee Road after Evergreen Drive and all side roads in these areas should have their items at the curb. On Wednesday, the route will include the Enfield Road and South Lincoln areas, including all side roads. Thursday, workers will be picking up in North Lincoln and all side roads. Please call public works at 794-6658 if your materials have not been picked up by this time.

The town crew will NOT be picking up refrigerators, air conditioners, household trash, junk cars, cement blocks, bricks, gasoline, oil, antifreeze, fluorescent bulbs, TVs, computers, computer components, fuel tanks, shingles, sheetrock or pressure treated wood.

Swimming pool liners, tarps, carpets, linoleum, insulation and plastic pipe must be cut up in 3' x 3' sections. Vinyl siding should be cut into 3' sections. Leaves must be in plastic bags or leaf bags. Brush must be smaller than 8 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 1/2' with no metal. One dump truck load of brush per household. One load of wood such as boards, plywood and chipboard is allowed per husehold. Washers, dryers, dishwashers and furniture are also allowed.

Imagination Station with Sandy at 3:30 p.m. (Children experience reading, math, science, art and more)

Thursday April 13th, 20th, and 27th
Little Readers for 2 & 3's with Miss Sandy at 10:30 p.m.
Book, Meet and Create with Darlene at 3:30 p.m. ages 5 and up.

Friday April 14th, 21st, and 28th
Homeschoolers Program at 10:30 a.m. with Darlene
Movie Friday's at 3 p.m. with Darlene

Saturday's April 8th and 22nd from 8 a.m. to 12 noon
Programs for children are held 8:30 to 11:30 on Saturday mornings.

Artist of the month is Grace Tibbetts from Lincoln.

Teen Programs are held:

Monday's at 3 p.m. Gross facts and fun at 3 p.m. and Ghosts Galore at 4p .m. for grades 5 & 6
Tuesday's at 3 p.m. All Things Book Club at 3 p.m. for grades 5 & 6

Thursdays at 3 p.m. Beyond the Book Club Grades 7 & 8
Thursday's at 4 p.m. Local Lore and Ghosts Grades 7 & 8
Friday's at 2 p.m. Game day for grades 6 to 8 

5/20 - Bike Safety Rodeo

May, 20 from 10am-2pm in Veterans Memorial Square in Lincoln.
Bring your kids and their bikes for the free Bike Safety Rodeo, designed to encourage kids from age 4-10 to ride bikes safely. The rodeo will include a helmet check, a bike mechanical check, and the chance to ride in a closed traffic skills course that teaches the rules of the road.

Music jams!

Music Jams are held at the K of C Hall in Lincoln every other Wednesday from 6 to 9 pm. Everyone is welcome!

Can't get to the Jams in Lincoln? Music Jams are also held at West Enfield VFW hall every third Saturday of the month, music starts at 6pm and ends at 9. Hall opens at 4pm.
